Export of italian regions - Q1 2023
In the first quarter of 2023, exports increased in seasonally-adjusted terms, compared with the previous period for the Centre (+6.1%) while decreased for the North-West (-0.5%), the North-East (-0.9%) and the South and Islands (-2.5%).
In the first quarter of 2023, compared with the previous year, exports rose in all macro-regions: +20.3% for the Centre, +14.0% for the South, +9.8% for the North-West, +5.1% for the North-East and +2.1% for the Islands.
In the first quarter of 2023, the more relevant increases, according to their contribution to the total export growth, were recorded in Marche (+101.9%), Lombardia (+8.4%), Piemonte (+16.8%), Toscana (+17.1%) and Veneto (+9.0%). Decreases were recorded in Lazio (-11.7%), Valle d’Aosta (-10.9%), Friuli-Venezia Giulia (-9.9%), Liguria (-6.7%) and Sicilia (-2.4%).
