European Establishment Statistics Workshop (EESW25)

The Italian National Institute of Statistics, with the support of the European Network for Better Establishment Statistics, hosts the ninth European Establishment Statistics Workshop (EESW25) from 5 to 7 November 2025 in Rome. This edition of the biennial exchange is dedicated to innovations in the field of establishment statistics, with a special focus on data collection methodologies.
 
EESW25 aims to advance the understanding of topics related to the design, collection, analysis and use of statistics on and for businesses and other organisational entities.
 
Official statistics methodologists, academic researchers, and private sector professionals in the fields of business, economics, and other areas of establishment statistics gather to share experiences, new methods, and research findings, as well as to foster collaboration.
 
Main topics of discussion include :

• New sources for data collection and process optimisation;
• Innovative methods for business statistics;
• Data dissemination and user satisfaction.
