These will be the topics of the new edition of the course, now in its fourth edition, organized by Istat and Ahref Foundation in Rome on 17/19 December 2013 with a series of master classes and workshops designed to take the first steps or specialise in data journalism.
The course is dedicated to journalists and the whole world of information, provides the tools needed to locate and use the information available today in Italy, to work with data and enhance their value turning them into “stories” of public interest. One of the scheduled workshops is dedicated to the presentation of the microdata collected during the public consultation on institutional reforms, Participa!. The contribution of Istat, the main actor of Italian statistics, and <ahref Foundation, provides an opportunity for participants to learn how to combine the knowledge of sources and data processing from the perspective of a newsroom.
