Confidence of service enterprises

The seasonally adjusted market services confidence indicator improved to 101.1 in June (from 96.8 in May). The index improved in Transportation and storage (to 105.8), in Tourism services (to 101.2), in Information and communication (to 95.6) and in Business services and other services (to 102.5). On a regional basis, confidence increased in the North East (to 97.1), in the Centre (to 102.4) and in the South (to 110.7) but decreased in the North West (to 101.3).

The seasonally adjusted retail trade confidence indicator decreased to 99.2 in June from 101.4 in May. The confidence diminished in large scale distribution (moving to 95.7 from 100.3) and marginally improved in small and medium scale distribution (passing to 105.8 from 105.1 of the previous month).
