Production in the construction sector - July 2024

In July 2024, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction is estimated to increase by 0.9% compared to June.

Over the three-month period ending in July 2024, construction production rose by 0.6% compared to the previous three month period.

On a year-on-year basis, the calendar-adjusted index recorded a 6.3% increase (calendar working days being 23 versus 21 in July 2023), while the unadjusted index grew by 14.0%.

For the first seven months of 2024, the calendar-adjusted index increased by 7.4%, while the unadjusted index rose by 8.9%.
