Production in construction

In July 2011 the seasonally adjusted index decreased by 1.2% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the quarter May-July, with respect to the previous  quarter, decreased by 2.4%.

 The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 6.3% compared with July 2010 (calendar working days being 21 versus 22 days in July 2010); in the period January-July 2011 the index decreased by 2.0% compared with the same period of 2010.

 The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 9.5% compared with July 2010. Comparing the average of the first seven months of 2011 with the same period of 2010 the index decreased by 2.6%.
