Turnover in services

In the fourth quarter of 2012 the Services Turnover Index decreases  of 5.6%.

Compared to the fourth quarter of 2011 the turnover index increases in  Water transport (+3.8%) and in Air transport (+0.6%).

A decrease is recorded in all other sectors: Wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (-16.9%), Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles (-6.0%), Postal and courier activities (-4.8%), Information and communication services (-4.7%), Accomodation and food service activities    (-4.4%),Warehousing and support activities for transportations (-4.3%),  Land transport and transport via pipelines (-4.1%) and Wholesale trade (-3.1%).

In the fourth quarter of 2012 compared with the previous quarter the seasonally adjusted index of turnover increases in Water transport (+5.3%) and in Postal and courier activities (+0.7%). A decrease is recorded in all other sectors:  Air transport (-1.5%), Information and communication services           (-1.1%), Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles (-0.8%) and Wholesale trade (-0.7%).
